Legacy completions endpoint
/v1/complete is deprecated and will be removed Jan 31 2027. Use /v1/chat.
What changed
A migration guide and a compatibility shim in the Python and TypeScript SDKs.
/v1/complete now returns a Deprecation header on every response and stops accepting requests on Jan 31 2027.
Move calls to /v1/chat before Jan 31 2027. From SDK version 3.2 the shim does this for you.

The /v1/complete endpoint is deprecated and will be removed on Jan 31 2027. Move to /v1/chat, which accepts the same models and adds streaming and tools.
Requests keep working until the removal date, and every response carries a Deprecation header so you can find the remaining callers in your logs.
